Sunset on the Catalinas

It seems as if I'm always on one quest or another.

Last spring it was the hunt for the elusive Road Runner.

Lately it's been the elusive Northern Snowbird...
(that's right - I'm still hunting them)

But added to the list has been trying to get some decent shots of the
Catalina Mountains - right outside our door.

Yesterdays snowfall, and the addition of low clouds which are
not a common sight, added a bit of drama to the sky.

The camera does not even begin to do justice to the beauty that
was mine to savor last night but I got these few shots
which I liked and thought that I would share
with you tonight.

Today we had an extremely full day.

So much in fact that I will have to split todays activities into two
separate posts.

2 more to follow as I get them done.

Hope you enjoyed the sunsets...
I sure did.

  1. OMG these sunsets are UNREAL. I thought they were great over water, but this is really beautiful. Fantastic Job Greg. Really should be posters!
