We shrink further

Our group continued to shrink yesterday with the departure
of Rob and Pat for Phoenix.

After the now-traditional Quartzsite-refugee white handkerchief sendoff.

And just like that...  we were down to 3.
John, Kate, and I.

Oh...  and plus this little guy

Downwind

Final approach

Touchdown!

Our moon continues to wane.

Today is Friday and is final day here in Imperial LTVA.
Tomorrow we will hitch up the wagon and head back to Tucson,
stopping for one night at Picacho Peak State Park, a small new
Arizona Park 1/2 way between Phoenix and Tucson.

After that we have reservations at Catalina State Park in Oro Valley,
and plan to eventually move over to Gilbert Ray Campground
on the Western side of Tucson.

Gilbert Ray is very close to the Desert Museum and the
Old Tucson Studios where you may remember we visited
earlier in this trip.

Meanwhile - today and tonight we are due to be hit with some high winds.
Gusts in the 30's - so it may get a bit dusty around here.

Till later.

  1. Have you or are you planning a visit to the Az Sonora Desert Museum? It was one of my favorites when we lived in the area.

We used to stop at a Stuckeys at PP on our way to/from Flagstaff!
