Our first Arizona Morning…
Our first Arizona Sunrise!
We are back at Kartchner Caverns State Park.
Last year on this exact date we were here and it was 23 degrees and snowing.
Yesterday it was mid 70's and delightful.
Today is supposed to be close to 80.
We have ended "Travel Mode" and now have slowed down for the winter.
The dog house was taken off the truck, lowered to the ground,
and now the doodles can get in and out under their own paw power.
Our path the past 5 days to where we are now.
We'll stay here till Saturday, tour the caverns & celebrate Kates birthday.
The colors of the rising sun paints everything it touches...
The dog house
The mountains behind us.
Not a bad backyard eh??
A pretty nice front yard too!
Just the start of many great sunrises & sunsets to come.
Glad you are having some relax time.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
WOWZER! Now THAT's a sunrise! You are the BEST, GregO! Glad you get to cool your jets a bit. xoxoxox Kristi & Jim
ReplyDeleteGreg & Kate (You da WOMAN), really looking forward to our morning walks enjoying the sunrises and warm temps. Love those pics; I'm counting down the hours when I can take my own.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Miss Kate, I forgot, how old are you again?
Happy birthday, Kate. Have a great winter. We're looking forward to doing the same thing.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I loved when we lived in Sierra Vista was the skies and the mountains. We have some awesome sunrises and sunsets out here in the Caribbean but not like these. Great photos - enjoy your winter. Now I'm back to boat maintenance sitting here in Puerto Rico.
ReplyDeleteI always love the view!! Glad you can take a rest & enjoy the land.
ReplyDeleteAmber
Enjoy your travels and happy birthday wishes to Kate!
ReplyDeleteZeta waves a paw and sends kisses. Beautiful skies! BTW, i love the term "escape velocity"……I may use that for a painting title, if you don't mind.
