Spaces are tight and it can be crowded if a Caravan arrives but this is just a place to stop,
provision, and then head back out onto the road.

Prophet River BC
Prophet River Wayside
A boondocking site about 4 hrs north of Dawson Creek
Its a closed Provincial Park which is still used by Fire Crews during the season as
well as RV travelers.
Turn into the gravel road (left side heading north) and the campsites are about
1/4 mile in past the grass airstrip.

We find it to be a nice quiet site with weak but useable cell service.
There are pull thru and back in spaces or just park along the wide internal roadway like we did.

Stone Mountain Provincial Park
Located atop the continental divide it is the highest point along the Alcan
About 18 boondocking sites right next to the Alcan.
Beautiful dark skies but might be cool or windy at times.
On one visit here we were treated to a magnificent night of Northern Lights!

Muncho Lake Provincial Park
One of our favorites along the Alcan, McDonald is located at the north end of the lake.
A loop road with about 15 sites, you can drive in, take a look and drive out without unhooking.
Pure boondocking. If you like peace, quiet, and great views this place is heaven!
There is no cell service here and trees blocked our satellite.

Liard Hot Springs Provincial Park
A heavily wooded campground about 40 miles north of Muncho Lake.
The main draw here are the natural hot springs where you can soak away the
cares of the world.
Boondocking sites only.
Some are smaller but many are suitable for all size rigs.
No Cell service and too wooded for Satellite.
