Amarillo by Morning Part II

OK - back from walking the dogs and thought I just had to throw in a couple of pictures.

First  - Gracie loves to hang out on the couch looking out the window.

Last night I wondered what she was looking at so I stepped outside to take a peek and was greeted by this:

The moon rising over the Aux Arc Dam and the Arkansas River.

After we left there on the way to Amarillo, about 50 miles down the road Kate mentioned that one of our side compartment doors was swinging open...  Long story short is that we left a few items somewhere along Interstate 40 between Ozark Arkansas & the Oklahoma state line.  One of them was a size 10 1/2 left foot work boot.

Each time when we depart - I try to do a walk around and check for things like open windows, raised skylights, did I unplug & store the electric cable  (that one will be a doozy if I forget) and so forth.

I need to get better about not forgetting things or we will have many more stories like this before this trip is over.
