I have it hooked up to a sure call antenna that is inside the RV but could be mounted outside if I wasn't so lazy. Verizon came out with a great plan recently where for $2 per day (per device) you can take your existing plan (voice and data) to Canada and continue to use it roaming with no additional charges. I am using both my iphone and Jetpack so its costing $4 per day. That is still much cheaper than what it would cost to buy a pre-pay sim card and keep refilling it like I did my last trip to Alaska. If you dont use the device there is no charge for the day. The minute you turn on cellular and it connects - then you have 24hrs of use of your current plan and $2 is added to your bill. One could get away with just tethering the iphone instead and only spend $2 but the mifi with the antenna gives me a stronger signal sometimes so I'm just using both as I need them for work.GregKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15334269677191676729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6157015770933873342.post-22628960968180541012016-09-20T02:05:30.598-06:002016-09-20T02:05:30.598-06:00Great posts.
